Let’s be real here. Parenting is hard. But you know what makes it better? Having another parent tell you that they have done the exact same things you worry will “mess your child up for life”. We’ve all been there, it’s a part of the parenting process I guess you could say.
We have to laugh at ourselves, otherwise, life is basically pointless. At least that’s how I view it.
MommyCon is an awesome way to connect with other parents and laugh about all the crazy things your children do. All the crazy things you’ve said as a parent. And all those things you said you would never do as a parent, but let’s be honest, you totally did.
Imagine going to a place where everyone just gets you. No one looks at you weird because you have spit up on your shirt. A place where no one makes you feel like a bad parent because your toddler is throwing a tantrum in the middle of the room. A place where people don’t judge you for choosing natural parenting.
“MommyCon is a nationwide convention series dedicated to creating and nurturing a community of parents and parents-to-be in celebration of natural parenting. MommyCon takes a gentle and positive approach to educating parents about the emotional and physical benefits of natural birthing, breastfeeding and babywearing. We advocate values of holistic health, eco-friendly diapering, child safety standards and procedures, and female self-care and wellness. Our mission is to create a community of support, acceptance and non-judgement for parents journeying through parenthood”.
